I am trying to do a quest that has unlocking Glamour Casting and Glamour Plates as a prerequisite. My issue is The Prerequisite quest does not show up as completed in my completed quests, and the quest giver will not give me the quest so I can do the quest after.
Is there something special I need to do or is this something that is broken when SE did all the past quests rework ive heard about?

Yes, but the original quest was in Mor Dhona before they changed it. Maybe you need to see if something is there? Or do you have the quest hidden?

There are two quest chains that are effectively the same thing. "A Self-improving Man" leads into "Submission Impossible", and "If I had a Glamour" leads into "Absolutely Glamourous". Self Improving/If I had a glamour unlock the glamour system, Submission/Absolutely unlock the ability to craft glamour prism/purchase emperor's new. If you did Self Improving back in the day you have to do submission impossible in mor dhona

So more of a technical issue than a gameplay one, but I'm a UK player on Zodiark at the moment and I'm looking at swapping my character over to Adamantoise to play with my US friends and play around peak times with my out of whack schedule. @jagged fractal As a player that plays on 180 ping averagely, it’s playable, I play like that due to unavailability of actual local servers, you will find quite a difference if you play machinist for example, since you’ll end up clipping GCD’s on the 1.5 gcd stuff

Unlocks like dungeons, features, etc? In which case you can probably use the wiki or reddit. They also say when they unlock/prerequisites if that’s what you mean. But my rule of thumb is to do any and all quests with a blue icon, and by doing that you’ll unlock everything you need. Hopefully this helps, I’m still relatively new but I noticed this went unanswered.

I can attest to that. 132 ping is absolutely fine if it’s consistent. But some telegraphs will hit even if you go out of their range so you have to either react faster or move preemptively.

ARR's BiS was- as far as I'ma ware- Augmented Ironworks equipment or Dreadwyrm equipment.
HW's BiS was augmented Shire equipment or Alexandrian equipment.
SB's BiS was Augmented Scaevan equipment or Omega equipment.
ShB's BiS will probably be Augmented Cryptlurker or Edenmorn equipment.
Of course, BiS weapon are either from the aforementioned examples, or that expansion's relic weapon.

This is starting to drive me insane, I am trying to do a lvl 10 rogue quest which involves using hide.
No matter how far away I activate hide I cannot eavesdrop on Diving Dove, For example, I activated Hide at the aftcastle and went to the culinarians guild, when I enter the Culinarians guild with hide already activated, I get probably 10-15 feet away and the game says
"Diving Dove appears distressed over some matter. Approach her while cloaked by your Hide ability and attempt to eavesdrop on her grumbling."

While it is against ToS, technically, it is in sort of a gray area. They know that those tools exist and they acknowledged that they can be used to help people improve. As long as you don't use the data to shit on others it's alright (kind of?) to use it. Rather, they sort of turn a blind eye as long as you're not speaking about it in game or using it to harass other players.

I am a free trial player, living in a third world country (Pakistan). As a housewife, my day to day schedule is variable. Some are week(s)s free, others highly hectic, with no free time to game.
I Cannot afford to buy a month's worth of time, only for all of it to be wasted.
