I am really confused and maybe I am missing something obvious.
I want to attach materia to my gear. I'm lvl 80, completed the MSQ.
In order to attach it I need to complete Waking Spirits quest. But I can't take it. I need lvl 19 with a job.
But I can't take any job related quests since I am not that job and all the tutorials tell me to take the said quest in order to lvl up Jobs.

How do I unlock melding?

How can I get my gear melded?

To meld visible Materia slots a NPC melder in any major city will do (marked with a Blue Materia icon on the map). To overmeld gear you'll need to request another player to meld your gear or to do it yourself.

Why can't I meld this Materia to my stuff?

Every Tier of Materia has a minimum item level requirement that gear must meet to allow melding of that Tier. Tier 6 Materia requires an item level of 290 while Tiers 7 and 8 require an item level of 420.

Why is my meld giving +0 stats?

Every item has a maximum amount of stats that can be given through melding and the natural stats found on the gear. This can be seen at the bottom of the Materia Melding menu, as seen in the picture below.

The secondary stat with a higher number is already at the cap and cannot be further melded.

You can do everything in BSF but mettle will be slower in bsf

Since you're not doing skirmishes and lower mettle gain overall if you're farming memories

I'd grab whatever value buffs you get when grinding the 180 items

I change my password over and over and have no success in logging in. I’ve made an account ages ago, barely played and then deleted the game, but I decided to give it a try again now and just cannot login and password changes aren’t doing anything. Any solutions?

a one time password is 2 factor authentication that you need to enter every time you log in

When you try to log in to Mogstation, if you do have a OTP on your account, it'll ask you for it, assuming your login is correct

If it turns out you do have a OTP on your account, and you don't have a way to get them anymore, you will have to contact support, and verify your account, so they can remove it for you

The "limited" part is that it's not handled the same as the other jobs. It's current level cap is 70, the only viable XP gain is from mob grinding, and you cannot go into duty finder for a random group selection. Only pre-made groups.
