I just came back from a long break and decided to try something new: DoL/DoH classes. I just discovered diadem when my BTN was lvl 53. How long is this place good for leveling? Got to 57 and it seemed to slow down quite a bit so I'd imagine I should go back to leves at 60 or so?

Primarily from a usage point of veiw, are they worth crfting at all?

I'm currently on the free trial, almost level 60, almost done with HS. Since I don't really have any experience with glamours already, following question accured:

I looked up Eorzea Collection, found some really nice glamours for Au Ra, which I'm currently playing. Once I'm buying the complete edition however, I want to switch to Viera. Can I still use the glamours I found over there on Viera (so is there nothing "race locked") or do I need to specifically look for Viera? I love Viera the most, but in my opinion, Miqo'te or Au Ra have better glamour sets on eorzea collection. Sorry for the long question

Basically, you can't do any given expansion's relic quest without finishing that expansion to begin with, so you get no benefit from picking up the quest because you'll be beyond the content anyways.

You can play on any world on any datacenter within FFXIV. Aside from the languages spoken, the physical location of the servers, and the status of each world, there are no major differences. This also means population on a given server is quite meaningless.

The majority of content is cross-world, with the exception of Free Companies, Linkshells, and restrictions when visiting other worlds.

(1) I am playing with a controller on PS5 and I am lvl 36 dragoon and already feel I am filling up the 16 options available in one set of spells on screen at once. I have removed all but one non combat spell to other sets but just wanted to ask how much I am expected to like jump between different sets and everything later in the game when I get even more spells.

(2) Can I play jobs like Samurai when I am level 50 at the start of Heavensward even though they were released later?

(3) Does each expansion update the spells for all the classes since it ups the level cap? So will Endwalker come with new spells for dragoon if they increase the level cap to 90?

3.) Yes and no. Every expansion sees some pruning and tuning of abilities, as well as the addition of a few new spells for the new level cap. This expansion will see a little more tuning than usual because they're also doing a major stat squish so the numbers don't overrun the buffer.

What are Role Quests?

Role Quests serve as a replacement for Job-specific quests for Shadowbringers and are split into four categories (Tank, Healer, Physical DPS, and Magical DPS). These are unlocked with the quest 'Warrior of Darkness' at 71 and all start in the Crystarium around x10-11, y15-16.

At least one of these Role Quest series must be entirely completed in order to complete the Shadowbringers story. Completion of these quests, along with having the appropriate Job at 80, is also required to claim job-specific level 80 i430 gear from Grenoldt in The Tempest.

A good way to get some materia if you need some

There is a difference from extract materia and retrieve materia, extract can only be done once it's fully spiritbonded, and retrieve allows you to take matria out that you have melded in, in case you were curious
