How do I unlock my job?

To unlock your class' job you need to be level 30, complete all of your class quests and the main scenario quest 'Sylph Management' (lvl 20 quest) to be able to pick up your job unlock quest. Once you've done the initial unlock quest, you will be given a soul crystal which you must equip to become your class' job.

When I hold it, I use the second joint, not the tips of my fingers in a natural hold. Ring and pinky fingers I loop around the bottoms of the grips.

1. Healer threw Regen before I took the adds, so the mobs rushed to healer, but he just stood there
2. There was another DPS who took the adds of several others, so there were mobs in 2 directions

That makes sense. Also, checking my PS controller, it feels easier to hold like that than this xbox elite controller I was using. Triggers aren't sticking up and out so much. Might just try that one. 'What is Glamour and how do I unlock it?'

Glamour is the process of changing an equipment's look into a different item with the use of Glamour Prisms. You can unlock the ability to glamour by doing the level 15 quests 'If I Had a Glamour' in Vesper Bay, West Thanalan. Although not required, you can unlock the ability to dye gear with the nearby quest 'Color Your World'. You can get the Orange Juice needed by talking to the nearby Merchant & Mender. Items used for glamouring are not lost upon use.

'How do I glamour? Where do I get more Prisms?'

Glamouring is done by right-clicking (Square or X on controllers) on the equipment you want to glamour and choosing the option 'Cast Glamour'. After clicking this you choose the item you want the appearance on the right half of the menu that opened up.
