only the solo instances force you to do it solo. you can still walk around as a group for everything else. there are also multiplayer instances required for MSQ like dungeons.

About the "holding the code" thing..
I have a friend who's also interested in the game, but he'll play on the PS4 due to his computer not being very good.
Could he buy the code on PC, hold it until he's done with the content up to 60 on the PS4, and then redeem it on the PC and continue playing on the PS4 via a subscription?

I know the game is cross play and I think I've read it uses the same account across platforms, so this should be possible, right?

MSQ gives enough exp to progress to 80 pretty smoothly. the only small gap is between 47-49 for some weird reason but even on a normal server, leveling is not a hard process even for first timers

By the way, thanks for your advice on itlv post a while before. I tried striking dummy for extreme diamond with 520, but I was able to easily destroy it with over 10 seconds left, so I might stop doing 3 alliance raids/week and practice extremes instead 🙂

if you mean SSS, there are not really a good indicator because of the weird timer. honestly, just do extremes. you'll do fine

you get a free phial of fantasia for completing the base ARR game. assuming you havent used it yet, you can always race change to male viera in the future

also, expansions usually come with a benchmark/character creator tool just before it launches

so you can make your bunny boi way in advance of endwalker actual launch and switch easily

Why am I Past lv50 Without the Abilities of My Job

Typically Job Quests are contained within their expansions separately. If you have not reached the next expansion in , you need to continue the main story quests until you reach the next expansion, denoted by giant letters naming said expansion.

the most common cause of wipes there is dps aiming the tether cone aoes at the tanks, which kills at least one of them when they try to take the next meteor

and so without a tank to soak it, the rest of the party dies

Everytime im on comet phase i always watch for magical debuff on tanks. If a tanks got it. 99% it means wipe lol

this is generally the best way to resolve tether aoes while avoiding tanks

the north and south meteors will be soaked before the aoe damage from tethers go out

so it’s safe to aim there

Hi! I just started playing the game on PS5 and wanted to use my keyboard and mouse for it but was having problems with the mouse. When I plug them in, PS5 correctly recognizes them as keyboard and mouse and keyboard works perfectly fine but my mouse doesn't seem to respond at all in launcher or in game.
