Not everyone is going to care or enjoy the story, and people come to this channel to get help, not being told "This game isn't for you" because they don't enjoy one aspect of it. A simple "The story is the main focus of the game, and while it does take time to pick up, it does get better. If you really don't care about it, then you can use a level/job skip, and if you wanna get back into the story, there's new game plus"

So like, I'm lvl 21, and it seems like the MSQ's are doing all the leveling i need, I did side quests in the beginning but now I'm just doing MSQ. Does it ever slow down in leveling pace before 50, and I'll need to start doing side quests again?

Hunts marks aren't bad to do between queues for dps at higher levels, for xp, but really, just do dungeons or palace of the dead for now, and you'll be fine. DRK and GLD are fine to level in dungeons.

I've tried a bunch of games but there not really built in the way that encourages the player to befriend others if that makes sense? Playing drk is normally recommended (cuz story, but you can just NG+ it I think) but really... I think since you've already played a tank before, you'd probably be better off boosting the tank and then levelling whm if you haven't done a healer before?

i played before they unfucked the glamour system but i didn't have a level 50 crafter back then which is how you unlocked it from my understanding
