Wondrous Tails

Wondrous Tails are unlocked by speaking to the Unctuous Adventurer for the quest Keeping Up with the Aliapohs in Idyllshire upon reaching level 60 with at least one combat class.

Speaking with Khloe Aliapoh afterwards will give you a journal that has a series of random combat challenges to be completed which award you with a sticker that appears on the right-hand side of the journal. This journal can be accessed from the key items section of your inventory.

Your goal is to try and collect 9 stickers from completing those challenges. The stickers will appear in a random location on the 4x4 grid, but can occasionally align and form a straight line of 4, which can award you with additional rewards. Multiple line orientations are possible, with 3 lines being the most difficult to accomplish. Here is an image that shows how your stickers can be lined up so you can have the highest chance of 3 lines. Use the 'second chance' points you earn from completing content with new players to shuffle your 4x4 board around to try for 3 lines! To view what the possible rewards are for the Wondrous Tails or to see when they reset, use the !wt in #kupo-bot-spam Good luck!

The only other thing I can think of is to get a box controller, if they're made for the system anyway, or some other type. Console controllers are pretty unforgiving in certain situations

Imagine two buffs, one reduces damage by 20%, and another by 30%. Another way of saying this, is one makes it so you take 80% damage, and the other says you take 70%. If you toss them together at the same time, .8 x .7 = 0.56 less damage. So okay, you're tanky for that time... but what do you do after they run out? Now you're made of paper, and in the meantime, you also wasted some of the damage prevention.

Worse invul, better on demand shield although you need lvl 70. less healing options although with the better shield, you dont really need the sheer healing of nascent.

All jobs are good and viable in all content. The difference between meta and non-meta is minor, to the point that player skill is a significantly more important factor. Play what you enjoy/what interests you most, and you can make it work.

Which world should I pick?

You can play on any world on any datacenter within FFXIV. Aside from the languages spoken, the physical location of the servers, and the status of each world, there are no major differences. This also means population on a given server is quite meaningless.

The majority of content is cross-world, with the exception of Free Companies, Linkshells, and restrictions when visiting other worlds.

If you don't mind where you play, choose a world that is Preferred or New for character creation bonuses. Check world status by using !status <world name> or via the Lodestone. For information about the status types, use !faq worldtype.
