Right now, focus on progression, and getting your BiS. Parses will come if you put in the effort to improve and optimize. But at your level, getting the boss dead is far far far more of a climb and don't feel bad about a grey on a clear--many players don't see the clear.
That said, you might actually find it easier to get the relic before E12S weapon if you have the time (and haven't already cleared E11S yet)
And doing that will make getting those first clears easier.

However my biggest problem is my rotation becomes bad in fights I'm not familiar with... Mostly due to bad habit of staring at Hotbars

I recommend going to sleep. The trial is part of trial roulette but most people dont queue for that with lvl 80 jobs

You need prisms to cast glamour anyways, best place to get them is by exchanging grand company seals but you don't have those yet, but by that same token you probably don't have access to a lot of good glam pieces yet either

My friend, who is originally from EU, but is currently living in Korea for the next year, wants to keep playing FFXIV on the EU servers because that's where I am, but she can't. She apparently has to use a VPN to be able to play on NA / EU but even with a VPN, EU servers just infinitely load. However, NA servers load fine.
Anyone has any idea what could be causing this? Is it even possible to play on EU while living in Korea?

just be aware that a benchmark can not catch all eventualities so you may still run into situations where you struggle
and your result is still not great, maybe think about getting something better in the long run
but for now you should be good
