Hunt board access requires quests to unlock them. Usually nearby. But the ones from the board can be done solo. The hunt trains go after the random spawning high rank ones that have no bills associated. Check #resources for a hunt discord server for hunt trains.

Although daily reset is coming up in about 30 mins, so that might also be a good time to queue as some people will be doing their roulettes right after reset.

in 90% cases things like raidwide damage is magical, and tank busters physical, you can also usually tell by the animation, but if you're doing endgame content where using specific mitigation at correct times is a matter of life and death you can look up the fight on fflogs, go to enemy damage dealt and physical attack names will be in orange while magic in blue

not all, but you can usually tell, if it's something like the boss punching the ground then it's probably physical, if it's casting something and idk an explosion happens for example, it's probably magical

Nope, every beast tribe area has 40-ish fates, plus north thanalan and mor dhona iirc
If you're looking to use the fates for leveling, fate xp is garbage
the only use for arr fates is book step, atmas and some beast tribes.
