Yeah you can have it up while you walk around. I can't think of a lot of difficult terrain to navigate, honestly. The cities are dense, but you get used to it.

by e12s you should be geared enough to not need loot from other floors. also statics who are at e12s usually tell the individual to do reclears on their own
