Listen, alright, boosting the only pro you're getting is:
-You skip leveling the job, which reaches 70 instantly(still have to level the last 80 levels).
-You get 500k gil(I think? dont really remember)
-You get armor that's good enough for lvl 70
And here are the cons:
-You skip on the lore of the job
-You have no idea how the job plays(Due to no past experience, just kowabunga onto the job)
-You paid a hefty amount for a boost(Is it 25$?)
-You may end up actually not liking the job, so wasted money

To further elaborate on what emu said some bosses spawn say, to take a recent example, giant icicles that can't be targeted and are their own entities theyll do an attack then despawn on their own. Using reprisal on the boss won't reduce the damage the icicles do.

Yeah, I don't disagree that it's a bit cumbersome to rearrange hotbars if you do it later. I always try to set my hotbars up as soon as I hit level 30 (or pick up a job) so that most of the abilities aren't natively there.
I switched to PC about 6 months ago and have been putting off redoing the hotbars for jobs I don't play as much though.
I know I'll have to do it sometime before 6.0 comes out, but it's gonna be a pain.

Say your Conjurer 4th hotbar is empty, and you want to clear Paladin 1st hotbar
Yeah, you could do that, but you'd have to do it for each bar individually. It wouldn't clear all of the bars at the same time.
