ok yeah the issue was 100% my item level.. I just bought the ironworks staff for WHM and beefed up all my gear at the the market place and quickly got myself to ilvl 124.. then I went back and the quest was much much easier.

Do your grand company hunting log (you'll need this done for promotions), can also do fates while waiting in queue to help with seals. Daily leveling roulette also helps with seal generation before you're sergeant second class

There is a setting to enable extra cross-bars by double clicking the trigers, or clicking them at the same time. This gives you even more options. BUT, I can't figure out how to set actions or traits to them like you can the default crossbars. If anybody can help with this on controller, I'd appreciated it. okay, so my tiny brain is finally figuring this out. It doesn't CREATE extended hotbars for you to set skills to, it just creates a visual copy of an existing hotbar that you normal switch to with the bumbers. So to set things to extended cross hotbars, I do not do it directly, but in the source hotbar.
That is way too complicated.

Not at all. It will make you level a LOT faster, and you'll be well above the quest levels for the entire MSQ, but it won't ruin the experience in any way.

As compensation for all that, BLU can use any learned spell in any level content, and have a buff to xp gains from killing enemies.
Which makes them incredibly OP with very little effort.
They have a few spells they can learn which are literal insta-kills.

short answer, yes against ToS. However, they also can't know - they have no way of checking files. A good amount of people use ACT for parsing, and the visual mod community is fairly large

In that window things are pretty fast paced since you cram as much dmg as possible in there. Outside of that window however you mostly just do the basic 1-2-3
