I think I’d quite like to play DPS or potentially one of the other healer (defo not rank at the Mo) but I can’t settle on one and it’s hard to know if you’ll enjoy a class play style as you can truly experience it until near max. Assuming you’re max level, rule of thumb is to just press your egi assaults if they’re nearing full stacks, keep them if you need them for movement mechanics, and if you have less than 4 stacks of further ruin. Other than that make sure to weave efficiently, read AkhMorning’s guide on the job, it’s beautifully packed without being too convoluted

Yes. Only gunbreakers use gunblade. Gunbreakers start at lvl 60 so you can level any job to 60 to unlock it then try it out.

its kind of hard to say. but its possible that asking someone to craft it for you may be cheaper as they may ask for a smaller fee than what the mb is selling for, or if you bring the mats to them they may make it for free

The npcs don't follow the same card limit restrictions so that they can be harder

Part of the difficulty. You have to make decks and wait for rule sets to change to get an advantage

The trick in Triple Triad is to play defensive, if you do that you have more chance to win. Never try to capture cards from opponent in the first 2-3 turns, unless you are forced to do so.

Like if I have to run to the side to dodge a boss AOE should I then run back to my original position? I just don't wanna piss off any DPS because I've read that they need to be in a certain position to the target in order to cast spells and stuff i think

There's no reason to be spinning the boss unnecessarily. if you're dodging aoes, then that's fine
but basically running around the boss so its constantly spinning is a huge no no

Main characters do, as in the characters that show up during the MSQ. NPC's outside of that don't. If they were, we'd probably get something akin to Skyrim with one or two people voicing the same npcs

Yes, there are more and more voiced cutscenes the farther you get into the game. Voices are pretty sparse up until lv 50.

Hello Everyone, I heard that ffxiv is one of the best MMOs currently and I had some questions regarding the pricing and regions.
I am from India and I saw this game on steam. I wanted to :- where to buy it (steam or square enix store) and how to pay for it monthly.
On fall 2022, I might possibly move to Canada, and I heard that India is PAL region square enix. So I wanted to know if I have to buy ffxiv again for the NA region or what exactly happens.
How is the combat in the game exactly ? Like Is it similar to ffxv and ffvii remake or is it different. If so, can someone explain ?
How friendly is the community. I am currently on a discord break (just here to get some questions solved) till June so I dunno how helpful the community is. So I hope the community here is helpful.
Should one buy the starter pack first and then buy the expansions later or do people buy the complete edition all at once.
This game is a huge investment for me and the game seems interesting I just hope it keeps me hooked for a long time
