Basically when you queue with a full party you don't have to pay attention to your item level

If you're below the minimum item level you normally cannot queue

But with a full party the game allows you to ignore that restriction

There's also unsync which ignores instance size requirements and level sync, which is the thing which lowers both your item level and normal level down to the specific number

Only for a little while. You have to play that class until at least 10, then you can unlock other ones if you want. Starting class also determines which city you start in, which you are tied to until about level 15 in the main story quests.

If you're starting from the very start of the relic chain, a very long time. It took me a week when I did one at level 70 and nothing else and it burnt me out.

Old expansion relics are a long grind (ARR relics especially) and are not worth doing for the stats. Only if you want them for the glamour.

Only refresh it when its about to run out. Spamming it means ur wasting GCDs when you could be using them for more directly damaging abilities

'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Besides looks, all mounts are the same speed along with being able to fly. Some mounts allow multiple people to ride at once.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

What role do they play?
How difficult is each job?

MNK and NIN are both melee dps. BLM is caster dps. DRK and PLD are tanks.

From a difficulty standpoint, no job is particularly difficult to learn at least the basics of. Mastery varies depending on the job and the player.

Nothing is "low tier" in XIV. Unlike most other games, they do a very good job of balance.

There is a challenge log entry for fates too and that gives very good EXP.

In Shadowbringers areas fates drop a currency that you can use to buy extra things and mob drops so that you don't have to grind mobs for materials (you can also get riding maps, triple triad cards, furniture, etc)

It's by far the best set BLU can use now, because of the 5 materia slots it has.
