They're right - by default, fonts and their scaling have been replaced, even without enabling the 4k UI replacement

well there you go! I think that is definitely how they'd expect someone who just completed (or close to completing ARR) is to get their poetics. Once you also complete the next dungeon, you'll also unlock a lot of lv50 dungeons, all of which give a little poetics
so yeah, go through castrum and praetorium first before looking to buy poetic stuff!

A lot of people do maps to get materials or items you can't really get otherwise. Since the pool is somewhat sizeable, there are chances you'll get lesser valued stuff
was it a level 50 map? generally just doing a map gives you a fair amount of gil

I'd say the stuff you get from level 50 maps probably aren't worth it, and there are two different types of maps - one of which says it can be done by a single person, and another that says eight-players recommended, the latter giving you the better loot

No, they can be a guest and have access to edit and go there, but they cannot reset your timer to prevent demolition, it remains your house and yours only.

I’ve had it plenty of times in the past but I can’t give you a de-facto answer. Sometimes changing DNS settings on my router/device settings did the trick, sometimes verifying files in steam worked, sometimes I had to reinstall.

Yes: regarding endgame gearing at lvl 50/60/70, all of these gears no longer have the base version, and you no longer need to get them augmented. They came out of the box as augmented version.
No: I don't have a quick clean way to figure out what to keep in your inventory. You have to look up on their uses with Garlandtools or Gamerescape (both of these are websites)

You don't have any raids unlocked. High-end duties are pretty hard and require good gear so probably shouldn't do them right now. IF I were you I'd unlock the twinning/akademia (dungeons) and either go for Eden (a 8-man raid line) or continue with the MSQ

The horses just take time to farm the ARR EXs, which is easy to do solo at 80. The Falcon mount is not available anywhere else though so you should get that if you haven't already. The t-rex, kamuy, and predator can be harder to get than the horses.

If you mean a separate book, no. You can turn in a book with a lower level character and get exp but still select the level 80 unlocked rewards if you have a level 80 job.

Yes, the game has voice acting. At your stage of the MSQ you should have already seen some cutscenes that are voiced. Not all are though.

You can manually add the ilevel to the gear set name, but it only does it automatically if you use the default.
