they're basically categories of duties with a daily bonus added to them

Main Scenario Roulette, for example, is Castrum Meridianum and Praetorium.

50/60/70 is all dungeons that are level 50, 60, and 70.

There are many ways to raise your item level/get better equipment. Poetics are tokens that just come naturally from playing a high level character, but if you're too low you might consider just running some dungeons or buying them from vendors instead.

depending on your current class, a full augmented ironworks set would be useful to keep around if you want to level another class that shares the gear

Most matches versus real players trying to win will end in a draw. Winning all matches against an NPC is worth more than drawing against all players. That said, only playing NPCs is unlikely to end you in the top 3 required for the guaranteed rare card

for group light you want to do Eyes of the Creator (Savage), which is in the third tier of alexander raids.

with a full group of level 80's it goes down in like 3 minutes and you don't see any notable mechanics

'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Besides looks, all mounts are the same speed along with being able to fly. Some mounts allow multiple people to ride at once.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

Cure 1 will always be cheaper to cast than Cure 2, and additionally casting Cure 1 may cause your next Cure 2 to be entirely free.
That said, the further you get into the game, the less you'll be using cure 1 cause it heals for little.

Strongly advise against it. The reason you are leveling so fast is probably you being on a preferred server. But the story really is about 80% of the game so skipping that might take away a lot of what makes it good

It's only really efficient if your specific dungeon queues are longer than 15 minutes.

Roulettes are not efficient.

You do your first roulettes per day, then specific queue your highest level leveling dungeon.

Or you do PotD if your queue times are too long.
