Most of the tanks want at least 2.42 - 2.40 gcd for lining up their rotations

And also for hitting x amount of gcds in their burst windows

War can use the melds of the other tanks just fine

But to minimize upheaval drift you take either a slightly fast or a slightly slower gcd to line it up better

And the dhit on war is really about whether you'd be able to fish a small amount of out of ir fell cleave dhit/dcrit

'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Besides looks, all mounts are the same speed along with being able to fly. Some mounts allow multiple people to ride at once.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

I'm at the level 38 point in the story (final flight of the enterprise), and the story is starting to feel a bit tedious.. not that interesting in what's going on at this juncture.. people have sworn that the story of this game is amazing so I'm tryign really hard to watch all the cutscenes and read all the dialogue so I don't miss anything important, but in all honesty the story feels like a bunch of bouncing around from one thing to the next without a lot of interesting plot or characters so far. 1: The Crystal Tower 24-man duties are the only ones that the story need, with the rest being optional.
2: One of the newest steps for the shadowbringers relic weapon wants you to run the Crystal Tower raid series as an option for getting tokens needed for that step.
3: People don't like queueing into the HW/SB/SHB 24-mans due to not being braindead easy and forcefully lower their item level by unequipping gear until the only duties the roulette can give them is the crystal tower series.

Just want to add to what Platt said, *highest unlocked leveling dungeon

When you hit like, level 50/60/70 dungeons you wouldn't want to run those since they were the old level caps and those dungeons purposefully don't give a lot of xp

If for example you are level 60 you'd want to do the level 59 dungeon

In terms of CLL you really only need Steelsong for the boss that uses various elemental mechanics.

For general Bozja usage Bravery is a small but easy damage buff to keep on yourself and the party.
