You can do it if you want. A lot of items for low levels in particular are vendorable and also you can just gather the rest if you want. Really no issue to starting crafting whenever
Really how long you want to stretch out free trial ultimately comes down to just how much you are willing to put up with not being able to do X or Y
For instance, I'd buy the game when I hit level 60 because I wouldn't be assed to spend forever leveling other jobs and I'd want to progress main story without losing out on xp @worthy harbor

If you're already on that quest, then you're on the right track. After you finish it, go back to Kugane's market and look for the Hail to the Queen quest.

For your first job, it's not strictly necessary, as doing them will probably put you over the MSQ level. But you can also do them to level up another job, or if you don't mind being overleveled

Only in Castrum Meridianum and Praetorium. The cutscenes are unskippable so sprouts can meaningfully contribute to the dungeon. But at any rate it's extremely impolite not to watch for everyone's cutscebes.

Hi everyone. I'm playing the game on the free trial. I've done the first 3 dungeons and the ifrit fight and found them all incredibly easy. I know i'm still low level and that these were probably designed to introduce the concept of these things but I thought I would ask. Does the content get harder? I am looking for more of a challenge. Also, so far there has been very little actual multiplayer content. The main story just goes on forever and has to be done alone. Class quests have to be done alone as well. Like is this a multiplayer game in just name alone? Or does partying become more common at higher levels? I'm interested in parting with people not bringing 6 rat tails to a npc because they are too lazy to walk 30 feet.
