'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Besides looks, all mounts are the same speed along with being able to fly. Some mounts allow multiple people to ride at once.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

Why spend 1,000 MP on a 700 potency heal that takes up your entire GCD when you could cast Cure 1, a slightly less potent heal but with a cast time faster than your GCD ( ++ weaving! this is the best way to weave like a Fastro on WHM!) but which costs less MP? not to mention the 15% free Cure 2 proc. MP is never an issue on WHM thanks to this! 15% is actually better odds than rolling for literally anything good in Genshin, so it's better than you'd think.
