WoW for example (as far as I remember, I haven't touched it since Cataclysm came out) has a lot of dungeons from previous expansions but when you queue up for them, they're all literally just empty. And you'd have to convince friends and guild mates to get their asses into it to go through it. Does FFXIV have the same problem?

@mental oracle You might want to try switching to a gamepad or controller if using your mouse is hurting your wrist. XIV has very strong support for both, since it's as much of a console game as a PC one, and it might be easier on you.

What should you do if you're wanting to go into a savage raid for loot, but you're not completely sure that you'll get a clear in 30 minutes and don't want people yelling at you because your reflexes are kinda still a little slow? I'm wanting to go into E9S for the loot, for a reclear... but last time I went in I got yelled at and they wanted to kick me out. I'd cleared before and thought I could do it again at that time. It's honestly something I don't handle well, and it's put me off from ever joining a "loot party" if this is how they all are.

barring playing well off peak times, and as dps, you shouldn't have to wait long for the vast majority of levelling content
if you play tank/healer you probably get into every dungeon within 5 minutes

Eyep, player base growth is doing well, particularly post Shadowbringers getting a lot of press. Experience is good, they actually recently carved out some quests from one of the more strung out periods (Post ARR to 1st Expansion) to try and smooth out the progression.
