So me and my 2 friends just finished HW and we usually switch jobs at the end of an expansion, and I'm trying to decide what to do. I've mailed NIN, BLM, and MCH so far, and I'm thinking about tanking? I like complex classes and combos where I can choose what to do, and I want to do something that pairs well with DNC. Any suggestions?

Nope. White lilies can only be used for healing. Using white lilies will charge the blood lily, which can only be used for damage. The two systems aren't interchangeable.

So...I've played ARR and gotten to 2.3 and quit because the game was just boring. I heard that HW was where it gets good, so I was skipping Dialogue like crazy...and somehow, my WHM is lvl 63. I got to patch 2.4 only to find that I can end this madness by buying a story skip mode for one character...

So when I skip this story and unlock Ast, is there a way to quickly learn the rotations? I just started again yesterday.

And as has been noted, dungeons can reasonably be done blind, so long as you have half a brain and can adapt to mechanics.

I got a question regarding how the game registers glamour, and equipment.

So, no one has enough glamour plates to make all the glamours they want. So I thought of something and at first it worked but I think there is issues with it

I bought a bunch of lv1 race clothing from the vendor, made a glam plate, assigned it to 1 set, made a new plate and assigned it to a second set of the race clothing, continued for the remaining glamours I wanted.

But once in awhile after swapping a few times, the glamours seem to overwrite eachother? I no longer seem to have all the right parts.
Is this because it's all the "same item" to the game regardless of what's glamoured over it?

I turned off my pc but it really doesn't help. I got a gtx 1050 running the game on high recommend and I get these stutters while playing. They drop my frames for like 3 seconds and then I keep going at a steady frame rate.

I play on same specs (using Nvidia's Game filter instead of Gshade atm) and tbh the UI default settings is wonky lol.
I had to upscale the UI to 200% and then bring everything down to 80 or 60% down scaled.

It's Gearsets, cuz there isn't enough glam plates to get all these glams going.
So is it because they're the same item?
I just have one of my classes with one set then I saved a gearset, put new glam on made a new gearset, etc.

Some of the SB and ShB ones require a bit more exploration though.

'How can I unlock Flying?'

Flying is unlocked through the collecting of a zone's Aether Currents, with every zone having ten 'green' Aether Currents found in the overworld and five 'yellow' Aether Currents obtained through the MSQ and side quests marked with a plus sign. Azys Lla is the only zone to not have any green Aether Currents. You must collect all Aether Currents in a zone to be able to fly.

Flying is unlocked in A Realm Reborn zones simply by completing the level 50 story quest 'The Ultimate Weapon'.

'Where can I find the green Aether Currents?'

Upon obtaining the Black Chocobo mount you are also given an Aether Compass, which is a key item you can use to locate the nearest non-quest Aether Current.
