hey guys, new player here and wow refugee as well, i just hit level 80 on my red mage today and finished the msq for Shadowbringers and i want to level a new class/job but i'm not sure the easiest way to keep up to date with my gear cause it seems important. i got black mage up to 51 before i swapped to red mage but i kind of want to level a different job, such as summoner, how would i go about getting gear while leveling so i don't become undergeared for dungeons and such? would it be from crafting or the tomes? crafting seems quite complicated with all the different buffs and their separate (CP? something like that) bar, and i haven't messed with them

if you're going to be leveling thru dungeons, then just use whatever you get from dungeons. Plus the poetic gear at 50/60/70
if you level thru potd/hoh/bozja, then your gear really isnt that important
