Glamour Dresser FAQ

"What is the Glamour Dresser?"

The Glamour Dresser allows you to glamour an entire set of equipment at once when in a city or town. You can find the dresser in your inn room at any of the Adventurer's guilds.

"How do I use it?"

In order to use the Glamour Dresser you need to first put the items you want to use for glamour inside of it. This requires a one-time cost of one Glamour Prism per item. You're able to safely take out the items, but you'll need to pay another Glamour Prism to put it back into the Dresser. After you have put in the glamour items you want to use for your set you'll want to click on "Edit Glamour Plates".

When the plate window opens up you can select the stored glamours you have onto the slots of the plate to create the set you desire. Once you're satisfied with your glamour click on "Save". You can now apply your Glamour Plate by accessing the Character menu, clicking the Glamour Plate button, and choosing the Plate that you have made.

"What is the Glamour Dresser?"

The Glamour Dresser allows you to glamour an entire set of equipment at once when in a city or town. You can find the dresser in your inn room at any of the Adventurer's guilds.

"How do I use it?"

In order to use the Glamour Dresser you need to first put the items you want to use for glamour inside of it. This requires a one-time cost of one Glamour Prism per item. You're able to safely take out the items, but you'll need to pay another Glamour Prism to put it back into the Dresser. After you have put in the glamour items you want to use for your set you'll want to click on "Edit Glamour Plates".

When the plate window opens up you can select the stored glamours you have onto the slots of the plate to create the set you desire. Once you're satisfied with your glamour click on "Save". You can now apply your Glamour Plate by accessing the Character menu, clicking the Glamour Plate button, and choosing the Plate that you have made.

It's going to depend on exactly why your account got suspended. If you put in a ticket, support will usually get back to you within 24 hours, but it's a weekend, so that puts it a bit up in the air.

How do I unlock melding?

Complete Forging the Spirit (materia extract/npc melding) and Waking the Spirit (player melding) in Central Thanalan.

How can I get my gear melded?

To meld visible Materia slots a NPC melder in any major city will do (marked with a Blue Materia icon on the map). To overmeld gear you'll need to request another player to meld your gear or to do it yourself.

Why can't I meld this Materia to my stuff?

Every Tier of Materia has a minimum item level requirement that gear must meet to allow melding of that Tier. Tier 6 Materia requires an item level of 290 while Tiers 7 and 8 require an item level of 420.

Why is my meld giving +0 stats?

Every item has a maximum amount of stats that can be given through melding and the natural stats found on the gear. This can be seen at the bottom of the Materia Melding menu, as seen in the picture below.

The secondary stat with a higher number is already at the cap and cannot be further melded.

Do you have to be a battle mentor to get mentor roulette? I don't have it as crafter mentor

a lot of people dont do stuff synced anymore and prefer unsync, if you wanna get it cleared quickly that'd be the way to do it

Hi all, I'm starting rhe game today for the very first time. Just going to burn through the free trial and see how I feel about it.

Anyone have a first class suggestion? I tend to like melee and tankier characters but also note ill most likely be playing solo.

because if so, it would be highly advantageous to wait until after you are much higher level before you go back and do that

it's a big timesink, and 10x longer if you're doing it legit instead of doing it as a level 70+

You only have either Gladiator or Marauder starting out
