Hi all. I have a small issue I wonder if it has come up here before or similar...? So I have the companion app for the extra saddlebag (loser, I know). I bought it halfway through my initial free game time from complete purchase, so paid for 13 days. I then subscribed which is my game time now. But my companion app ended and I had to repurchase along with my subscription period. In the process though, a saddlebag vanished temporarily until I repurchased, and all the things in there have vanished. I did not have any downtime longer than a few hours of not having the app. I don't remember exactly what was in there but it was all like unique item glam stuff and some dyes and stuff. I raised a ticket in game and they said 'you are on the free app at the moment [not the case - got the receipts] and what items did you lose [I have no list of what was in there]'. Has this happened before, or similar where you lose access to stuff and it wipes or they can restore it? It's not the end of the world but also it is annoying because I wanted that stuff (one item for lord commander's coat, I remember that), paid quite a lot for a sub and the app etc and very timely.

'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Besides looks, all mounts are the same speed along with being able to fly. Some mounts allow multiple people to ride at once.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. As a mount, your chocobo doesn't have any level requirements. Once you've unlocked the ability to use mounts, you can use them at any level of class.
