well you can use player search to find him to add him to your friend's list, its in the social menu
to actually meet up though, you'll need to progress the main scenario quest to lvl 15 where you unlock airship travel and are able to travel between the three major starting cities
since limsa is an island and you can't get off of it until you get to that point in the story

I know there's a command to copy the contents of a hotbar to another. You might be able to use that.
You'd just have to make a few template hotbars on bars that you don't use

For example, if you create a macro with "/hotbar copy LNC 1 current 1", it'll copy the contents of the first lancer hotbar to your current hotbar

If dont care about the detour from msq anything not locked to expansion is on the table. Mch will take you back to lv30 so have to keep that in mind if want to try heavensward msq with it

I mean, I like playing as a Summoner, so I have no problems with it. However, I've been told that just focusing on it would be a waste of exp.

Not necessarily, I think they mean the quest Exp will be so little it won't really individually move the needle much, which is true. But it adds up over time
I do recommend trying other things out because FFXIV's class system in and of itself is so friendly to experimenting. And there will come a day when you're out of exp for your main class (currently 80) so by then you want to have another class at least around 50 so you can do several of the roulettes for exp without waste.

I think so, it's a fun one. That's currently tied for my favorite non-tank class
But don't wait on MSQ to level it is what I'd say. Just do what you feel for that day.

Eventually as you start doing other stuff, you might have multiple classes going. Awhile back it wasn't unusual for me to log in, do 80 Roulettes for the current expansion tomestones, then do Leveling/50's roulettes with my classes that were around the 50's/60's, then doing Relic FATE's with my 70's classes just to get some exp. So you get to a point you've got a bunch of classes at differnet points.

When you're synced, you're synced to the highest ilvl of that time. All your stats go down to a certain point and materia is turned off

there is no error, after using 2. comboattack it should become active but it doesn't anymore, it just won't ever let me use it but like i said, when i initially received it at lvl 26 it was working just fine for like a level or so

i fixed it, i deleted the icon from the bar and redragged it onto from the skillbook
i assume because i did synced dungeons it deactivated it and never re-enabled it after 😦

Question, I was reading some guides and it seems like people tend to have a whole different bis set for Ultimates (Low level ilvl) aside from their savage gear which is basically the highest level savage gears (ilevel 510-530)
is this plausible? I wanna make sure im reading things right. Seems like people tend to go for the ilvls closer to the sync level for synced ults?

Yes because for ultimates you want as much stats as you can get
For lv70s it doesn't matter too much
As synced 80 gear will have both stats capped when synced

Llauqs, it ups your skill while you have it in terms of the calculation on what materials you get, AND it increases the rate at which you get skill ups.
