Since the expansion is popping out this fall (which isn't that far away), I was wondering if it would be better to just wait for it before purchasing the game, or if i purchase the game now I'll only have to pay for the upcoming expansion only? Honestly tanks usually have the least mechanical responsibility out of the 3 roles. Their main thing is positioning the boss and making proper use of mitigation for heavy hitting attacks

Tank swaps only really are relevant if you want to do savage or extreme content

There's some normal content in raids where tank swap is sonetimes more than a suggestion (looking at you, 156k buster in a5) but they are the exception

That WOULD warrant a swap in savage

But they're baby mode sooo

They are about the same. Its more up to finding a good server community than the datacenter as a whole

The only thing most Tank players don't do... is play a good OT.

They just dps and wait for mechs

When you could help with mitigation

With something like Invervention or TBN

And most of the time it helps you to do so.

Crafting has been greatly simplified skills wise for this expansion bit mostly in quality of life. It still requires thinking and good equipment. They are taking about timed nodes which are in set places but special in game times. Some timed nodes are locked behind lore books which are obtained with yellow scrip
