but those tops will need things like leather, alchemist items, maybe some goldsmith items
and unless you level those other crafters to make those items you'd need to buy those materials to make the top
and that can cost a fair bit

doesn't really matter for eu, both datacenters are basically the same population and all instanced content like dungeons raids etc. are cross-server inside a datacenter, server choice only matters for something like joining the same free company (guild) as your friends, everything else is basically cross-world to the point where population (which is already very balanced) doesn't matter and you're better off choosing a preferred world that has a double exp bonus

From time to time an in need bonus will be DPS as well, although that's quite rare for the leveling roulette. For seals you would be better off running higher end stuff anyhow, since you can turn the gear into the grand company directly for 1k+ seals each. Honestly just zipping through level 50 or 60 dungeons at a breakneck pace on an 80 unsynced will get you a decent amount of seals from the boss chests if you're just in dire need of farming them.

The general "War" stuff is for all the non casters. So the specific tank class gear will have higher defensive stats for you. But yeah, you'll zip to 30 quickly anyhow

The optimal chemistries are going to depend on what you, personally want out of your missions. Similarly, the optimal party composition is going to depend largely on the stat requirements for each mission. Generally you want a minimum of two stats "green" (flagged missions being the exception as they require that all three stats be either met or exceeded in order to succeed). @frank wigeon

That's going to vary from server to server. iirc, the Tsukuyomi mats are the only ones that can't be desynthed, so you have to rely on rare drops for that. But individual server markets for nice glamours are going to fluctuate pretty regularly. Just because something was 2M last week doesn't mean that the price will necessarily stay the same or go down if it's a high-demand item.

If you're able to earn poetics when you have a job at 49, then you're able to farm them. You can't earn poetics before reaching the end of 2.0.
CM and Praetorium are the first instances that reward poetics.

going through eureka to get to hydatos is the hardest part, but getting the actual armor is pretty trivial
the grind can be pretty tedious, but you can like watch something while doing stuff

getting eureka elemental armor from scratch is literally a 1-2 month long process

PF would likely take much longer to form a party. DF will be slow since (afaik) the coins aren't needed for any current gear, and alliance roulette is being flooded with Syrcus Tower, Void Ark, and Rabanastre for the ShB relic grinds.

coils unlike the other raids doesn't have a normal and a savage difficulty, it ONLY has a savage difficulty so it's difficult by default which is why no one runs it normally
