They both play pretty identical until the 60โs or so.
Warrior has an easier overall rotation and has pretty good self-sustain in trash pulls with Nascent Flash
Paladin gets a bit more involved in their rotation and has natural background mitigation with their shield

For content at and above level 64, yes.
The way mastery traits work, is that the skills automatically adjust to whatever content your own to be the strongest versions
Also a lesser known part of the trait upgrade is that Caustic Bite and Storm Bite have a 40% chance each to proc the effects of your songs, compared to 20% from Venombite and Windbite.
So you get a much bigger damage boost than what it appears to be.

Tradecraft/fieldcraft levequests are for crafting and gathering classes and are good sources of exp for those.

your should give you enough gear, and any leveling dungeons (i.e. not level 50/60/70/80) automatically give you one piece of gear upon completion

Cryptlurker is better, even if unaugmented. As for exarchic vs eden promise NM, it depends on your class's bis and the substats the gear gives. F.e on drg the exarchic gear has waaaay too much sks.
