Stupid question maybe, but under Target options, there's an option for "Enable auto-target when no target specified." Not sure what this actually does? I'm finding, especially in groups, that my target dies really fast and I waste a few actions (especially during burn phase for MCH) before I realize and tab to a new target. Is there not a way for the game to auto-target a new enemy when you hit an attack command? That's what that option sounds like it's supposed to do but it does not.

GCDs are job dependent and usually revolves around buff windows or weave timings. Interestingly enough most DPS want as little SkS as you can, at least based on the BiS of the Balance. Samurai is the only one that really wants specific values for it I think. Maybe Monk and Bard too but only a bit.

I wanted to ask something here again regarding upgrades via Mogstation; as someone who plays on the 'free trial', and has it downloaded (not steam.), on the Mogstation, I have option of both Starter edition and Complete edition. Note I've literally only played free trial, yet whats confusing to me is the 'base game' i need before say expansions... like ARR, iirc.
I've done research, some people saying that the Complete does have ARR, but does it include the 'base game'? Note that I've tried the code things; did not work because of other issues but I did get a refund. I just thought I should ask again, before I attempt this a second time
I just need to know if I need Starter before Complete edition because I've seen lots of mixed answers.. that and if Mogstation upgrades auto go to your account correctly, since last mishaps were about my region, wrong codes, etc...

No, truth of the mountains is for legendary nodes. Eph nodes dont show up with it. But if you are near one and you use Lay of the Land it should say "an ephemereal node is xx yalms away"

@neon aspen you need dawnborne right? acc to teamcraft, which i can't guarantee as accurate, there should be an eph node in the sea of clouds rn at (X: 25.6, Y: 33.2) and you want to gather bright lightning rock
but again i dont know how up to date this is
after you mine one eph node, use lay of the land and it should point you to the next one, and it'll be a standard 3 node rotation until the time is up (which is in about 3 mins)
