That may have to do a bit with one of the main reasons we don't typically recommend macros - they often skip or glitch if things aren't sequenced or delayed properly.

Try putting in a /wait 1 before the text line.

Also you don't need to have "" around your text line.

That's a special command call in macros that tells the game to search the library for the term, which is why you need them around "Raise"

You can always test if a text line will print properly by using the /echo command, which will print it only for you.

If you want I can get an official 1.0 recap video that might help with your understanding of the events surrounding the world prior to the start of the game but....actual terms of lore jargon? Much harder

as someone who's just focused on the story of the game so far (lvl 47 now after Garuda), are the hunting logs worth starting at this point? Or any of the grand company stuff? The rewards are miniscule

the grand company logs are worth doing because you get higher ranks with your grand company

which means the vendors sell more useful stuff

Grand Company stuff is worth ranking up. Hunting Log can be safely ignored at that level as they stop being a thing past 50 anyway.

I recommend this macro. It tries to dump it on your target, and if you have no target, it drops on your head.

I use this for every ground-targeted AOE like Sacred Soil, Earthly Star, Eruption/Feather Rain etc

mind that macroed abilities typically can't be double weaved because macros can't enter the action queue so they take longer to go off and sometimes require spamming.

I only do two because I have practice with pressing "cleanly" as soon as the animation of my GCD goes off. I only do more in my dragon sight macro which is a damn mess anyways.
