do note that crafting/gathering is basically optional in this game, unlike some other mmos, but on the flipside, they have a lot of depth, they have their own skills, quests, special endgame content, gear, mechanics, rotations and so on
but the only "direct" advantage having crafters leveled does for you is letting you repair anywhere, and save a bit of money in the process

WAR is a tank class, so if you play it, be prepared to fill that role in dungeons
