Yes you’ll still need to do the patch story to go to the expansions. The patch story for the base game and expansions purposefully gives less experience to help avoid overleveling.

Hey guys you were so helpful about my issue I wanted to say thanks. Also I think I figured the issue. Turns out I can switch steam store from KR to US when in the cart. So I can access my original account. Doesn't change the fact I bought the wrong version of Shadowbringers and may not be able to get a refund for it, but at least I have access to that original account and hopefully will be able to play it later.

Hey! I am level 7 , Arcanist (trial) and i find the gameplay and the combat very boring. Will it get better afterwards? I'm interested mostly in leveling experience (story etc). Also i feel the questing/ map ui a bit overwhelming. I can't understand which quests i have to do. And i have stuck in "Dressed to Call", it requires items that are level 5, while all of my gear are level 1. How can i grind/ buy cheaply level 5 gear?

Early sidequests will give you gear and Gil to help with that quest. The merchant right by the person that wants you to wear level 5 gear sells gear that you can use to meet the requirement
As for the bit about Arcanist, that’s mostly about the rotation flow for them in the early levels and the slow trickle of skills that change your rotation.
For quests/map, you can pin/hide specific quests in the journal by clicking the square by the quest name. A yellow/full square pins it to the top of your quest UI, while a 🚫 hides it in the quest UI.

If I’m reading the chart right, basically you guys killed it the instant the AoE happened. AoEs don’t hit everyone at the exact same time, instead quickly hitting everyone in order

If the i510 is the Exarchic stuff, it can be better if you overmeld it

Fishes from everywhere else are... well still mostly worthless, but specific ones can be traded in at leve quests for big chunks of experience, much like crafter leves
And others can sometimes be worth a lot for being crafting materials or being able to go into the aquarium furniture piece.

You can still end with Burst Strike to spend, it's just that for the rest of your rotation you should be prioritizing AoE abilities over ST abilities when you have multiple targets.

your gnashing fang combo should be prioritized over burst strike, and use it when there's 1-3 targets

- For a better answer, go to the balance. 2. Pre pull spreadlo will help a lot for first raidwide. Just save aetherflow for indom or recitation indom and you'll be fine. Nothing else needed, you have a co healer for a reason.
