depends on if you prefer having a higher sps tier rather than the crit tbh. 1 weapon damage and a bunch of mainstat/vitality is nice but if you prefer the sps i'd stick with a pentamelded crafted

to clarify - the wandering minstrel is the unlock for, with a couple exceptions, all Extreme and Ultimate difficulty fights

Hi, so was recommended this game by a friend. I'm on PS4 and im confused how the purchase/pricing of the game is:
I hear its a monthy sub service? But then on the PS4 it says I can buy the game with the expansion packs for (44 pound, 50% off sale) 22 pound. In the description it says 30 day free trial, but no mention of the game being locked under a subscription service. Im real confused how this is working? Was hoping someone with the game on ps4 could help!

The best roulettes for EXP gain are Leveling, Main Scenario, and Alliance Raid

Daily Leveling roulette is good, but also find a food that boost stats for your current job. That provides a 3% XP bump as well. And the higher the level of your main job, the faster your alts will level. And if you're in a Free Company, they should have Heat of Battle II up.

Which provides more XP. You can do Palace of the Damned, but it's kinda boring.

Which world should I pick?

everything from silver feathers can be obtained in-game by other means, but the shops where you pick them up are locked behind MSQ completion

Mounts FAQ

'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Besides looks, all mounts are the same speed along with being able to fly. Some mounts allow multiple people to ride at once.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

yeah each patch is separated into 2 major "parts"

there's the main expansion itself, then a series of "post-expansion" quests that wraps up the story and sets up for the next expansion

1-50 is ARR, then there's a very long set of quests at 50 for post-ARR, then 51-60 is HW, then there's a long set of quests at 60 for post-HW, then SB is 61-70 and so on

#

you'll know when you've hit the next expansion because the game makes it very obvious

Basically more often than not if you're wiping it's usually not due to DPS checks until you get to the end of the fight

And the DPS checks are really generous assuming you're at least using your cooldowns and buttons
