Starting class affects your starting city, that's it

#

Once you complete the level 10 class quest for your starting class, you will be able to swap to any classes you want

#

And level 15 story quest will make you visit the other two starting cities

'How do I get the bonus experience from the Armoury?'

As long as you're playing a Disciple of War or a Disciple of Magic class that's a lower level than your highest level class then you're able to benefit from the bonus experience. You do not need to have a class at level 80 for the bonus to be active.

'How much is the bonus experience?'

You get +100% experience from levels 1 to 69, which then reduces to +50% for level 70 to 79. The difference in level between your current class and highest class does not change the amount of experience you get.

'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Besides looks, all mounts are the same speed along with being able to fly. Some mounts allow multiple people to ride at once.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

Being a healer is 90% practice getting a feel for how far you can push your dps while still keeping up healing.

And 10% MP management.

WHM in general tends to have a much higher threshold for MP usage before we start panicking, particularly at higher levels where all the gear has so much Piety on it, and we have a variety of healing spells that cost no MP to cast while still being very powerful, as well as Regen/Medica2/Asylum for healing over time.

Does this game do giant events? So far, the only events I've seen are super simple quests (most of the time just an old event that is brought back) that can be done in like 10 minutes. When I used to play guild wars 2, christmas events were pretty huge and there were tons of things to do for hours, so I was wondering if they ever do anything like that here.

Yeah, the key to keeping aggro as a tank is to a.) have your tank stance on at all times (there's no reason to turn it off) and b.) spam your aoe so you hit everything.

Your best option would be to remove all of the skills from your bars, then go through and put them back one at a time, reading the tooltips as you go.
