I haven't been very active for the past while, last time I logged in was for 2 days on 5.3 launch for the MSQ, before that it was a few days of 5.2 launch for MSQ and eden.
With 5.4 dropping, I want to get back in and experience the story and the normal mode eden/emerald weapon. Problem is, my character is still mostly in 5.1 gear, with the highest ilevel thing being the base resistance weapon (the one before even doing any of actual bozdja). I feel that with my gear I would just be a detriment in content (assuming I even meet the ilevel requirement), not to mention I am rusty as all hell. I don't quite know where to even start catching up to an adequate level for 5.4 normal content, any help would be appreciated, preferably without having to resort to tomestone grinding

So a piece with 2 open slots can only fit three of the second materia
Basically the grade 7 materia is meant to be put in the slots that grade 6 and 8 can’t go into

Ranger dps queues for leveling can be rough. If you’ve only played mostly tanks.

@pearl perch fastest way to level machinist is to do haukke manor til u hit level 32, then brayflox until 35, qarn until 38, cutter's cry until 41, stone vigil until 44, dzemael darkhold until 47

They updated aurum so coincounter doesn’t instagib new people. It’s not as horrid as it was.
