It's kind of subjective but the range is like Casual > Midcore > semi-hardcore > hardcore about how serious the group is about prog and how fast they expect the group to clear and how well they expect members to perform. There isn't really like a way to objectively gauge it though

It'll say on the map icon, there will be a little person icon with a number. Obviously you can do the group ones solo if you're way overleveled. Though keep in mind that Dragonskin and Gazelleskin maps can spawn a portal to a special dungeon and those will sync you down so you'd still want a group

Squadron dungeons are a nice alternative if your normal dungeon queues are long, just mind the GC seal cost of running the dungeons
As for composition, there’s no glaringly OP classes anymore so any will do for the most part, though I prefer gladiator over marauder due to Total Eclipse being a circle AoE

so i would personally say go with the ones you're going to be crafting a lot on to just make life a little bit easier. the skysteel MH are a cheaper, but grindier choice for MH if you don't have the money/interest in making aesthete and pentamelding it

there's three gazes. The first one comes from shiva and reflected from blue mirror at the same time, you have to specifically look relative east or west. For the second one, you can look directly out and you're fine (you can technically also still keep facing boss if she's positioned well. Then you'll generally want to run mid if fake holy, facing either north or south along the way, and you'll be fine for the last gaze

there's also a strat to stay mid for gaze mirrors, which is especially handy if you're caster/healer but can also be nice if you're ranged too. @kind eagle for the first gaze you look to the relative east/west (away from shiva/blue mirror). Then the second you look either directly outside, or if shiva is positioned well you can look directly at her along the N/S line as long as you're not on the edge of the arena. You look along that N/S line for the third gaze as well, moving in to the center if it's fake holy or standing on the edge if it's real

try picking up the "and we shall it eureka" quest and see if that lets you get the "reach long and prosper"

yeah the problem with first gaze is it's reflected from the blue mirror at the same time, so you have to specifically make sure to not look at shiva or that mirror. So just looking outside isn't sufficient, unless you're specifically up against a green or red mirror
