the difference in dps between the .48 and .46 set is around 1%, so it's up to preference to use
might prefer one over the other depending on fight timings

If it's any consolation, Garuda ex takes like 40 seconds to complete
Samurai is about collecting and spending stickers on one of three moves, while dragoon is about jumps and building up to a burst window under your buffs.
Samurai is allegedly simpler, but DRG builds up more gradually from level 1 and personally I love it
