Would it be alright to ask where you're from? I'm mostly asking 'cause I'm from South East Asia and we actually have an ISP here that doesn't seem to play nice with mogstation that when I tried to upgrade my game to full I had to use mobile data to do it.

Granted I didn't get the same error you did, but it was still an issue in my browser that was preventing me from purchasing the game fully until I swapped to use mobile data.

I see, a bit farther than me and I did just notice you did already try with mobile data, sorry. Try contacting support, in my experience they did actually reply pretty quickly, though by the time they did I had already fixed the issue on my own end.

Well I wish you the best of luck, I know how frustrating buying the game and hitting an error can be, spent like an afternoon trying to fix that issue on my end when it happened to me and was just frustrated the whole time thinking I had wasted money.

Just to clarify the issue is you have the code but mogstation isn't accepting it? It could be because of the IP thing, I don't know if using a VPN is risky or not (to make it seem like you're at your home IP) but you could also entrust your credentials to someone you trust back in your country to activate it for you.

I've thought of that. However, I played on the trial version for a week now in my new location. If I all of a sudden start using a vpn it is likely to flag the account even harder.

Mounts FAQ

'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Besides looks, all mounts are the same speed along with being able to fly. Some mounts allow multiple people to ride at once.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.
