depends on the elite mark you're doing. once you've completed the unlock quest. then you can go interact with a hunt billboard to accept daily/weekly marks those will have you look for certain mobs to kill and will award you with stuff. on top of that, there are A ranks and S ranks that don't have hunt bills and can be killed for stuff (usually with a big group)

Or a party of blue mage who want to learn the thing. I remember you can get the Glass Dance from hard mode so it is pretty easy even with full blue sync.

The game doesn't even treat you as "in the air" during them. It just acts as if you were moving along the ground
