For max level Gatherer, Perception is more is better. Gathering/GP just need to hit specific efficiency breakpoints. (this is an oversimplification)

chances are you only meet the requirements for one of them
by the way, do your level 50 job quest and open the coffer you get with it
it's a set of i90 job gear which should boost up your item level enough to get around most of these issues

yes, there are more unlockable hairstyles in game though im not too sure about male hairstyles.
you also unlock the aesthetician through a short quest and can change hairstyle anytime you want using just in-game gil.

And get both rams and dragons voice at the same time
