If you want to play on a high population world (friends there, an FC you want to join, etc) then best to just start there and fight for a house when they start to trickle open up as demolition restarts

Depends. Population doesn’t matter too much on a per server basis, since matching is across the whole data center. But yeah, if you’re looking for a house, high populations more than likely won’t have any housing open.

Unfortunately, trial accounts seem to be locked to a single device. If you no longer have access to the old account, whether through hard drive failure or a new computer, etc., then you can’t access that old trial account sadly.

And this game is really damage focused. So any stat that doesn't affect your damage isn't the greatest.
Crit, DH, and Det all directly affect damage.
Spell/skillspeed are lightly used, but tend to result in less dps than the above 3
Tenacity and Piety do not affect damage at all, so are kinda not worth it.

Tenacity does affect tank damage, though it is a small effect and thus very low on the list for secondary stat preference.
Piety can indirectly affect damage in that you might need more MP in a given fight for healers to allow for full dps alongside healing requirements, but with how healers are currently you'll generally get more than enough from gear itself--melding piety is generally not a common thing

So finish unlocking the rest of Eden, your role indicates you're on JP, and my experiences getting through all 8 Eden raids on Normal there were pretty smooth, so you shouldn't have issues, even late to the game like this.

My personal strategy is to basically go one armor set at a time. I'm also cheap, so I never spend gil buying crafted gear - which is also a valid choice if you don't want to take your time gearing up every job.

As I am a cheap bitch, I recommend finishing unlocking the Eden fights and just grabbing full E5-8 gear for all of your jobs since that's the highest ilevel uncapped gear you can get right now.

Yeah, in Stormbringer you might as well do all the MSQ quests in each area until you get the five Aether Current quests finished. Then you can get all optional ones and fly.

@manic flare as far as the rotations in the doc you linked, you have to make sure you match the stats listed for each recipe, in order to do them.
They haven't said anything as far as letting squadron get jobs, that's just kinda how it is. Doubtful they'll expand that in particular moving on, since it seems a sort of intro to dungeons with trusts that we have now

can't you swap classes once youre in front line and still get xp for the class you queued as?
