So I'm an MCH main, and once I'm done with this semester I want to join a static. Since I'm still leveling other classes/ have schoolwork, should I focus on learning different types of classes for variety, or learn the remaining ranged DPS classes?

how comfortable are you with MCH? in terms of rotation and all? If you don't have that down, you'd probably want to work on that before leveling other things
also keep in mind if you're planning to flex onto classes outside of ranged DPS, then you also need to gear those classes too

If anything is like Mythic, it's probably Savage, yes.
Though I'd say that the normal raids are probably more akin to Heroic dungeons and LFR raids.
Trials are an instance reserved for just one boss and WoW doesn't really have a lot of those so.
I guess what I'd say is Extremes would fall in the same Heroic dungeon/LFR difficulty zone.
Easy enough to comfortably PUG but with mechanics that you have to pay attention to.
