@manic schooner to expound on what they mean by that is that paladins might have more natural defense thanks to having a shield, but that comes at the cost of there class not having AS strong mitigation tools, and i put emphasis on AS because it really doesn't fall to behind the others
warriors have nascent flash for incredible self sustain healing or raw int, strong defensive cd with 20 second recast as well as there 123 combo just healing them. so warriors are just super self sufficient in alot of cases
drk have the blackest night, which is just in itself super strong self barrier that also gives you guage when it pops (guage spent to do more damage) and has a fairly low cd.
don't know about gunbreaker since im still leveling it, but it seems brutal shell acts a bit like storms path

I suggest check https://www.ffxivgardening.com and look how to get the Thavnarian Onion there. (Just search for it) It is a double crossbreed, so you need to crossbreed more then once. Most use the Curiel Root and Jute crossbreed. (Youi do need a FC house with gardening permissions or an own house to do that)
