Each level threshold has its own set of relic weapons. However, the amount of work it takes to make them viable is excessive. Poetics can buy equivalent weapons without the hassle. Relics are just for glamour these days, with the exception of the current level 80 relics.

@cedar compass you can unlock 1* speed with bicolor gems, but I believe there's no second level speed due to flying being easier to unlock, there's no reason to add a second level of mount speed when flying speed is faster. In ARR areas, it was different, because many areas weren't designed for flying (at least not until patch 5.3 was released)

Why is it so hard to find Cornu? It is my favorite monster in the game and I have yet to see it on my account. I saw it a year ago watching my brother-in-law. that is the game's tagging system that whenever you get into combat with a mob, it will be tagged with A-Z

As a new player, currently your only option if you care about the road to 70 buff is Chaos as only that data center has 2 preferred servers right now. The road to 70 buff will grant all your jobs 100% extra EXP from all sources up to level 70. Furthermore, the first character who reaches level 30 on a preferred server will get the account an extra 15 days of game time for free.

Which are obviously not that often queued for, so sometimes if you are really unlucky you may have to wait an hour or more

So if you queue around the daily reset time you will have better luck

To get the Machinist job you have to have another job at lvl 50 and have access to Ishgard, which is the first zone you go to when starting Heavensward
But to get there you have to complete all the A Realm Reborn story quests
So chances are you will be beyond lvl 50 at that point, it will also take you some time

Doing pvp awards you a currency you can spend for whatever you want
So you can play a tank but then buy the aiming set
