Yes, being MT/OT is a choice, and usually agreed upon by the tanks.

Btw, if you're doing relic for weapon power, don't bother as it will take a long time to complete, and the ironworks weapons are very nearly just as good. If you're doing it for glamour, it's fine.

There's not really any reason to go back. You can queue for the dungeon from nearly anywhere. And when you finish it, the MSQ should automatically put you where you need to be.

But there's probably an NPC or something that will take you to it wherever you were before you were there.

Nope, those are two different things. If you delve a little past ARR's postgame content (before Heavensward) MSQ, you should be able to unlock the quests for them

The 24 man raids don't have an extreme version, but the level 50 ones are required for MSQ anyway

Take for example you pretty much fight every primal in the game, an extreme+ version of that trial will always be available

generally green/blue crafted gear is expensive because those are end-game type crafts

so they require materials that are either not gathered as often or are end-game type materials

Tradeable white gear is usually just levelling gear, Green tradeable gear is usually level capped gear (save for a few pre-50 sets) so it costs more to make. Blue gear you can buy on MB is either a glowy primal weapon which can be hard to make and is only for glam, or it's the crafting ironworks set which is just another level cap crafted set

white gear generally requires more common materials to craft, and are crafted more often so they're going to be cheaper

you also get HQ white gear from the MSQ so people sometimes sell those

'Most FFXIV rotations consists of the following phases.

Start with Inner quiet. When you are at higher level there will be more starter skills like Comfort Zone.

Do a sequence of touches to increase IQ stack (at your level it's usually done with Steady Hand + Hasty Touch).

2.1 Use skills like Manipulation or WasteNot to increase durability.

2.2 Use Trick of Trade to recover CP when possible.

3. Do a finisher (Great Stride + your best Touch skill).

4. Synthesize the progress to 100%. You need to calculate your durability for this. You can do a basic synth at step 2 or 3 for simple crafts, but for advanced crafts you can use simulator.

There are all kind of variations of rotation, but the basic idea is pretty much this. The chance of HQ increases by a lot at key levels (e.g. when you get Steady Hand 2 and Byregot's Blessing), and to be honest you'll only get a serious chance of HQ when you can at least wear a full set of crafting accessories (~19 or so). Also, food can help you greatly, items like stone soup is dirt cheap and provide 17 valuable CP.

I would suggest you to level all your 8 crafting classes equally so that they can share equipment and whatnot. Remember to make your equipments up to level!'

The commonly accepted method for levelling in POTD is to start at floor 51 and clear to 60, then reset the save and start back at floor 51, though if you don’t have floor 51 unlocked, 1-10 is an acceptable alternative.

For HoH the principle is the same, instead you’ll be running floors 21-30 instead.

Gatherer Collectables are a huge pita. You have to hit the timed nodes and only get like 2-3 turn in items per node and then move to another zone etc etc

if you don’t wanna yolo one activity, mix it up between leves, diadem, custom deliveries if you’ve got them unlocked, and collectible gathering

cuz those are basically it for gatherer lvling
