Basically you only get one shot at loot per week. If you don't get any loot and lose the roll, you're out of luck until the next week. But you get a page everytime you clear. After X amount of pages, you can straight up buy the gear you need if you lost the roll on it.

You can apply dye to the item directly if you want it to be for all glamours, apply the dye on the plate for it to be for that set, or dye the result after applying the plate to dye it until you change gear.

but the best tip for making money is: don't spend it. I usually yeet gil I accumulate at my retainer in 100k increments. Don't see it, don't spend it on frivolous things.
Weaver makes a lot of good glamour, so definitely recommend that, but if you want to get into gil making big time, become an omnicrafter.
