GW2 - I actually like GW2 but its hard for me to really find myself devoting a great deal of time to it just because of how there's no progression over time.
TL;DR WoW has too much gear treadmill and RNG fuckery, GW2 doesnt have enough.

you log in through the square enix client. im sure if steam closed square enix would offer a way to transfer your licenses to another PC version. the steam version is just a way for the client to authenticate your licenses

Well, one rule of thumb is that you want to cast as much GCDs as possible on damage spells, so use all the non-GCD heals before you resort to the hardcasted cures.

The ones starting from 50 or 60 require more setup (reading tooltips and se job guide) before starting the opening job quests. The role of heal/dps/tank is probably going to influence how you perceive a job since different kits at low level and different content demands
