Hello, I have a question. When running the game in fullscreen, the game is smooth and all that. really works well.
And in borderless windowed, i see its a bit worse. While i do not mind fullscreen, I do dislike the fact that the screen goes black after I alt tab to another app.
I tested other games, which do not have the issue like subnautica.
Is there something in ffxiv that causes the screen to go black after alt-tabbing?

It's better to level them all at once because 1. They require materials from each other so if you only level one, then you'll have to buy materials on the marketboard which will get expensive. And 2. It saves you the headache of having to store 8 different gear sets because none of your crafters are the same level. If they're the same level, they wear the same gear so you save space (minus main/off-hand tools)

@steel wedge No one does static raid groups for normal mode raids or 24-mans because there's no point. You can just queue for them directly and the queue will pop.
For old Savage/Extreme people usually unsync them with groups they find in party finder, when they want the loot
There are minimum item level discords if that's what you're looking for, but those are for old Extreme/Savage raids. Not normal modes.

I've been diligently reading the tool tips, then I did my first group with a duty and got spammed with tooltips and the group barreled forward and I had to cancel out of all of them lest people die. I did let them die once sadly. I was completely unprepared for how fast paced it was. I also somehow ended up with loot despite not knowing how to even look at the loot, so I hope I didn't automatically do something greedy.

If your Free Company (guild) has an FC house, you can also buy a room inside of it for 300,000 which is functionally identical to an appartment. But if you want to leave afterwards, you have to demolish it
