The Demonic Lanner is the closest to it if you want darkness in a bird.
But yes, there is no extra (9th) bird.

You can turn in as many as you are willing to craft or need to turn in until you hit the lvl for the next set of crafted turn ins

I think the guide pinned in #doh-dol-lounge says how many turns in are need per level range but i'm not sure

Desynth was made so it just levels up normally (no more max among all doh classes) and you can desynth anything.

I've got a question about GC supply and delivery missions and how random they may or may not be when they reset daily.

When it resets, is it the same for everyone? Just different based on level? (Like two level 75 weavers will have the same item to turn in)

'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Besides looks, all mounts are the same speed along with being able to fly in the expansion zones. Some mounts allow multiple people to ride at once.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

A Realm Reborn i50/i55 set: Done in Mor Dhona by talking to Kakalan at x22, y6 after completing the quest 'Simply to Dye For' located at x22, y9. Augmenting a set of gear requires a total of 7 Augmentations matching the name of the set. Augmentations can be crafted or bought on the marketboard.

Heavensward i200 set: Done in Idyllshire by talking to Seika at x7, y7. The materials needed to augment the gear are buyable with Centurio Seals in Ishgard at the Forgotten Knight by talking to Ardolain in the 'Exchange Centurio Seals (Advanced)' option.

Stormblood i290 set: Done in Eureka Anemos by exchanging Protean and Anemos Crystals with Gerolt to upgrade the set. Eureka is unlocked in Rhalgr's Reach with the quest 'And We Shall Call It Eureka' and is accessed in Kugane by talking to Rodney at x9, y14.

@solemn delta the level45/50 Artifact gear can be stored at an inn in the Armoire, and won't take up space after that so you could do it that way

But you need Opo Opo for the increased potency which is 2 GCDs and it changes back to raptor after one usage
