Yeah Stormblood and Shadowbringers expansion jobs are the only ones that start at the same level you unlock it Bluebird, if you wanted to say, get a Heavensward job they'd start at level 30 and you need to reach the first expansion to unlock them so you'd need to level them up 20 times to get back to where you'd be at when you unlocked them @oblique yew

@shrewd nimbus to add on Vinyl's answer, it is a permanent collab. You need to complete a Rathalos EX trials (4 player lvl 70 content, unlocked in Stormblood area). The mount can drop from the trial, or you can trade Rathalos Scale+ for it
The trial can be unsynced so you can farm it with lvl 80 jobs

9/10 times it'll be the tank messing up if aggro is pulled from them. Though, yeah, people seem pretty reluctant to kick people. And with anything in ARR, people running around with i480 or whatever gear can tend to cover for the mistakes of other people so... 🤷♂️
